Der obige Text verspricht sicherlich nicht zu viel; und auch nicht zu wenig. Mit der CD hat man ein gefälliges Album in der Hand, das immer wieder gut zu hören ist - auch wenn mir persönlich nicht alle Stücke gleich gut gefallen.

Positiv ist anzumerken, dass man vielen Stücken einen Hintergrund gegeben hat, der an Hörspiele erinnert. Dadurch gewinnt die Musik an Tiefe und wird interessanter; sehr deutlich lässt sich das bei "Flight to the Ford" und "Gollum the Sneak" spüren.

Moderne und klassische Elemente sind hier zu einem schlüssigen Ganzen verbunden worden. Fans, die Tolkien musikalisch interpretiert mögen, sollten die CD nicht scheuen.
